Today I tried something differently delicious with our all seasons favourite Egg. This egg recipe is very easy and one can make it in no time.

This is a kid’s friendly recipe too which will help all mothers who are having a hard time getting their kids to eat. So moms of picky eaters, give this to your kids and stop worrying so much about your child is not getting a nutritious diet. In this case, they themselves will demand more and more!!

Boil Eggs in bulk and marinate them with masala and then shallow fry them. This boiled and masala fried eggs will be a big time saver when we are busy and truly a blessing for those who go for work.




It’s so soft inside and a crispy outside. We feel like eating more and more till the full plate gets over. For all the egg lovers, this is a perfect snack which can be made within minutes and goes well with evening tea or coffee.

Preparation time: 3 minutes
Marinating Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients for Making Egg Fry:

Egg – 8
Garlic, crushed – 2 flakes
Chilly powder – 1 tsp.
Pepper powder – ½ tsp.
Fennel seeds powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp.
Vinegar – 1 tsp.
Salt – to taste.
Oil – as required

How to Make Egg Masala Fry:

Boil eggs, shell them and keep aside.

Take a big bowl and add all ingredients except egg and vinegar. Mix well. Add vinegar and make it to a fine paste with a spoon.

Take boiled eggs and make gashes in them with a tooth pick. Add boiled and shelled eggs and mix to get coated with masala. Now keep it aside for minimum 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated eggs on all sides by stirring it till it becomes light brown. Now turn it over and fry all sides. Cook for about 2 or three minutes till the oil and masala separates. I has to come to a dry mixture which will take mostly 3 or four minutes. Keep stirring it lightly. Turn off the flame. Egg Masala fry is ready.

My recipe Notes on Egg Fry:

1. You can boil eggs in advance and in bulk on the previous day, shell it, marinate it with masala and keep it in the refrigerator. Just few hours before frying, take it out from the fridge and let it come to room temperature and then fry it. This will save time and improve its taste too.
2. You can grind all the masalas given above in to a fine paste and marinate the egg.
3. You can even slice boiled eggs in to two or four pieces.
