Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing great and getting ready for Onam! It’s been a while since I last posted on my blog, and many of you have been asking why. The reason is that I’ve been on vacation, traveling to some beautiful places in Europe for the past two weeks. Now, as I’m wrapping up my trip, I’ve finally found some time to get back to blogging.
On this special occasion of Onam, I’d like to share one of my favorite recipes with you – Cucumber Pachadi. This side dish is a staple in Malayali cuisine, and it’s absolutely delicious, healthy, and perfect for any vegetarian Sadya or feast.
Of course it’s a very much wanted side dish of<a href=”Onam and Vishu Sadya Recipes Archives –“>Kerala Sadya Recipes</a>
If you have a fresh cucumber and some curd on hand, you can whip up this dish quickly. The other ingredients, such as mustard, curry leaves, and green chilies, are common staples found in most kitchens. You can make this delicious Cucumber Pachadi in no time!
Cucumber is also packed with medicinal value, rich in vitamins, folic acid, iron, potassium, zinc, and more.
I can enjoy rice with this pachadi paired with any of my favorite pickles.
