Tamarind Chutney is a sweet, spicy and tangy sauce. Tamarind Chutney is a good accompaniment for chats, samosas, pakkodas, pakkoras, patties, puris etc.
We usually make large quantity of Tamarind chutney, as it has to be readily available when required. Once done, you can store it in the refrigerator. It will last for a week. If you are making a good quantity of this chutney, you can freeze it and can use it when required, after bringing it to the room temperature. That’s the big advantage of this chutney.
