When it comes to the vegetable, Long Beans, I have fond memories. My dad’s sister who lives in Mamoodu, in Kerala was having its cultivation. When I went there I too joined with my aunt to pluck the beans. My aunt cooked it on the same day. Today I am sharing her recipe here. My mom was having cultivation of this vegetable earlier on the terrace of our building. That time also I used to pluck it. Somebody putting all the effort and then simply plucking its fruit is quite an easy and lovely job, isn’t it?

Sautéing these long beans with coconut, garlic, dry red chillies makes it extra superb. You get to Bite crunchy coconut pieces in between which make this side dish superb.

It is very tasty and easy recipe to make.
